[Video] How to use Optional Benefits: Critical Illness

Simply Benefits has partnered with AllState to bring Optional Critical Illness (CI) to members of Simply Benefits group plans. All members on the Simply Benefits platform can now log into their app, navigate to the shopping basket icon entitled “Optional Benefits”, answer a few simple eligibility questions and receive Critical Illness insurance up to $50,000. Payment for this optional coverage is taken from the employee’s own bank account rather than payroll deductions!

Critical Illness provides a lump sum payment for eligible members diagnosed with one of the covered conditions under the AllState schedule of benefits. Click on the shopping basket icon and follow the steps to learn more about the coverage, cost and options! If you’re not interested in the Optional coverage, simply opt out in the app or online. All members active on our platform currently, have 60 days to elect coverage. If you’re a future enrolled member, you’ll have 30 days from the effective date of your group plan to choose to opt in or out.
